The 3060 laptops will edge over $1000 because of the shitty market.. the one thing Biden did NOT do was reverse a 15% tariff with an executive order..
Why would he do that? Just because you want a cheap laptop? If at all, I'd increase it

Value is in a 8 core, 16 thread laptop with great build quality and excellent battery life. RAM and SSD can be upgraded and it runs quiet, even when doing light gaming.
Also, if you can get a new one for $650 (like I did because Best Buy was out of the open box satisfactory one I ordered) it's pretty slick, lol

When you say good battery life what are we talking about? I get gaming like 1-2 hours. But what about light web browsing and word processing ar 75% brightness? This looks thin and light like my hp elitebook 13 inch thats about 3 pounds.

Yeahhhh unless you're getting this in like-new condition for sub $600 idk what the appeal is. The razer blade with 1650ti has a 120hz screen which is nicer and more functional (even with the limited gpu power). The build is wayyy more premium too. The only thing this has going for it is decent cpu power at a lower price. But just spend a few hundred more for it's big brother with 120hz screen and 2060 max q, which is bound to come down in price.
Lol. "Spend a few hundred more." You're on the wrong site, bro.

Facts, lol.

None in my area anywhere near the $650 price point, cause even without a webcam, this would be a nice pickup.

Thats really impressive. My elitebook says 10-12 and I get 6-7 with cellular data on.

I have this exact model bought open box a few months ago. Mine was BRAND new. Box was unsealed but the laptop had a plastic cover around it. You could tell lit was un-tampered because the moment you oopen it, the plastic will get wrinkles in it. Mine was absolutely un-tampered and mint.

Stellar laptop. Battery life is insane. The 1650 at 1080p is no slouch. BL3 on High runs like butter (bumping down volumetric fog though). Same with Call of Duty. Smooth af.

Agreed, the 1650 gets more hate than it should. I play Doom2016 on ultra at full 72+ fps, most times hitting 144 on my external display with vsync on.

Wasn't aware that deals for laptops people use for gaming and/or higher end use cases had a cutoff. Thought it was about the quality of the deal. IMO, if you're using it for mixed media/gaming and not just encoding or something, the razer is far superior. Better, brighter screen with 120fps (not to mention much better response time than the 'big boy' g14). Better build. More portable. Better gpu (than the lower end variant).

If you're going to pay $850 new for this, or $650-$750 used, I think the $850 used razer is such a better and SLICKER deal.
Then you have to take into account that it will cost you $200 more and even than some after tax.

At $650 used like new this was a steal with a Ryzen 7 4800HS. Yes at full price no, and razor I dont like in general their laptops throttle and over heat, most people I know who had them had problems with theirs so I keep away from that brand.

There is always a cut off!

Btw just saw the deal you were talking about Razor stealth 13, that is not worth the price, better processor i7-1065G7, lol you kidding me right? The 4800HS on synthetics and and real world beat the pants off that processor gain of over 25% on a lot of tests.

I got the best buy deal for this laptop with the 2060, 16GB RAM and 1TB SSD.

It's a GREAT laptop, feels extremely solid and premium, better "premium" feel than my dell latitude (like that matters for anything).

keyboard feels good, trackpad works well, when browsing or light gaming it's pretty quiet and cool. Battery lasts forever.

Gaming it gets hot as hell and pretty loud

I don't think you can go wrong with a zephryus G14
