I have this and no, I don't ignite it and swing it around. I have the hilt displayed with other lightsaber hilts on a shelf. Why may you ask? Because Star Wars is something that was shared between my father and I, and then my children and I. It's a collectible that will be passed to them.
Let's face it, $150 is cheaper then a lot of vices and their consequences that most people spend money on. And when it comes down to it, if someone wants to buy one and cos-play or even worse, play with it, why not? It's their prerogative.
