I bought the Anakin ForceFX one in my early 20s about 15 years ago and it's still going strong. My 8 year old loves it. My bro bought this one a few years back and it's way heftier and thicker than the Anakin one. It's almost unwieldy and uncomfortable to hold, IMO.

Not sure why I'm still tempted to get it, heh.

I'm a huge Star Wars fan, and I have a very nice home theater where I've vertically mounted different light sabers on the wall which add to the ambient light. They're all controlled remotely with my lights. So for me it's a very nice show piece and also a fun hobby.

Can't you just use this as a simple light for a room? You could actually implement this in a minimalist way with a wall mount in a home office. People do it with guitars doubling as decorations all the time, for example.

That wasn't this one that was the regular one that doesn't have the removable blades I have that one bought from that deal. Tempted to get this one the elite sabers are pretty sick got the Palpatine one with the buy 2 get one free deal during Xmas and that saber is insane quality wise.

Are they wired, or wireless remote? Very curious to know how you have them setup.
