I'd love to have one of these! 90% sure the hilt is metal. For all you "too cool for that" people, get over yourselves, you know you like them too!

Maybe if you didn't spend money on overpriced light sabers you could buy a car that costs somewhere in the 50k range and be able to understand why so many people enjoy nice vehicles. Also, what car can be bought new for 15k?!

Swords frequently had these sorts of designs. They are rather feasible actually. Have you seen how many people in star wars get their hands cut off? Ya. This helps with that.

Because this item ships in its original packaging, there's no way to hide what it is. Hopefully it does not arrive damaged.

Or maybe those that have children and enjoy seeing the joy in their faces. I picked up a few similar to these on clearance years ago at
walmart ($25 each). My son is 12 now and his martial arts studio just started a lightsaber (kendo) class. These are above the crappy toy grade ones you see at walmart or even the ones disney lets you build at the parks. Either way, even if I was an adult and bought it for myself, how is that any different than an adult buying a luxury car they dreamed about at 16, but don't really need at 40?

PS- I've spent more than this on a good meal... and that certainly was a much worse way to spend my money.

I pity you.
