I've had a PS5 since launch and although I've played it obviously, I've actually been playing streaming options much more. Mostly because I have those setup on my bedroom TV and the PS5 downstairs.

But I played, completed and loved Control while doing the Amazon Luna free trial. And then I got Borderlands 3 for a silly good deal on Stadia (.99 cents for deluxe bundle after coupon) and have probably put like 50 hours into that already with plenty more to go. And loving every minute is it.

It's a much better experience than I imagined it would be. Little to no input lag as far as I can tell and although there have been a few stutters/hiccups every once in a while with connection issues, it's never been that bad. So far I'm keeping both Stadia and Luna after the free trials. If you have decent connection/WiFi, they are worth trying out now in my opinion... At least from a pretty casual gamer perspective.
Been playing Cyberpunk through Stadia and I'm super impressed with the service. The load times and convenience of jumping from my Chromecast in my living room to my PC (both devices with an ethernet plugged in) has been really compelling and seems really forward thinking. Given Google's reputation for shutting down projects I understand the reluctance to adopt it.
I've been playing Stadia more than expected lately, too. Mainly Cyberpunk, which plays fantastic, but also grabbed that great Borderlands 3 deal and have a few dozen hours in that.

thanks been meaning to try WWE Battlegrounds although its probably a stupid game. For those who are new to stadia, if you have friends who have stadia they can send you an invite to join stadia. It will give you a 2 month free trial of stadia pro.

Wow. Is Stadia still actually alive. I assumed they went under already.

Soon....
Yeah it's not like Xbox live gold is $120 a year or anything. What a clown opinion.

I really did not enjoy the streaming game services. there was always a slight bit of input lag that made the game feel abnormal to me.

Bought Metro 2033 on Stadia (was free after coupon actually) and though on the phone and tablet it looks pretty good, when running on PC it looks crap, can't imagine playing it on a big screen TV.

Stadia may be good. I just still have a bad taste in my mouth the last time I dealt with Google and their hardware. I bought a Nest Secure a month before they cancelled it. They had a sale that didn't look or feel like a fire sale. I bought it since I liked both Nest and Google at the time. Anyways it didn't work and Google refused to give me my money back. So I requested a new unit since they just kept sending me refurb parts. It took them so long to send me a new working unit that I was able to do a chargeback. After that nightmare experience, I'm just not willing to take another risk with Google anymore.

I'm not interested in any of these but I wouldn't hesitate to buy a game on Stadia, it's pretty great for what it is. Always fun to blow someone's mind playing RDR2 on your phone over 5g.
