I have the "100 piece" set for my 3 year old. He loves it, but it's a far cry from 100 pieces. Just look at the image and you can see. Maybe if you count the packing material, shipping label, cardboard scraps...

The cardboard chest is basically just a cardboard shipping box, so that was destroyed quickly. The tools are good enough for a 3 year old, but a 6-7 year old would destroy them in no time.
In the 360 animated image on the link, the 100 pieces shows a couple bags of plastic screws and faux wood. I would assume they stuff like 80 of those pieces in the 100 count.

Im sorry my imagination is no good. Do your kids have a work bench too? Where do they apply these tools? Is it pretend play?

My 3 year old built an addition on our house with these tools. I'd recommend 8/10.

My kids actually have a work bench.

Christmas before last Lowe's had all sorts of Craftsman toys for the kids, and I got mine the work bench. Most of the Craftsman screws and what have you don't work with stuff from the Black and Decker set. I took this opportunity to explain wood screws, tin screws, machine screws, SAE and Metric and TPI to my boy.
