Can these be chained down with something like a Kensington cable? Do they have a notch or loop to run it through?

These things are pretty useless. It's not fireproof, it's not water proof, and if you have a little muscle you can push the lid to one side and the latch will go the other way, making it pretty damn easy to open without a key.

Save your money for a real safe or just get a briefcase,

There's a handle but I wouldn't trust that. Also the lid can be pushed to the side to disengage the latch without a key. These things are pretty worthless unless you keeping something away from a baby/toddler.

Good deal for a fireproof lockbox.
These aren't actually fireproof, or water proof. You can also open them without a key fairly easy.

While no safe safe is really impenetrable, which one is more tougher to crack?
This safe as well as literally every single Sentry Safe model I've ever come across can be opened without a key. Push the lid the left and the box to the right, the latch will disengage. These are tough to crack if you are a toddler, but that's about it.

Any good deals on bulk purchases? Wanna dump everywhere in the closet
Go buy some Damp rid, or find some unbranded calcium chloride in bulk available online a lot of places.

I am not concerned about someone opening them since I just wanted to protect some documents / usb sticks if the worst happens. I will need to google it, but I am guessing that someone has youtube videos putting this a-blaze?

btw, almost nothing is lockproof and it's more about a deterrent. If you were curious you can check out this guys youtube videos - https://www.youtube.com/channel/U...igLoZOh6FQ

He shows how easy it is to break into most things and if you ever make it to Vegas for Defcon there are all types of locks around that you can personally practice on - with people showing you methods.

Heads up, reviews say letter size documents can't lay flat in the 0.24 cu ft case. I get that the item description technically states it fits "letters" and A4 size documents, and not "letter size," but I thought that might be confusing for some.

This is the first item a burglar is grabbing. Get a safe that can be bolted to the floor or wall instead.

Damp rid or calcium chloride? I might have to try these. I have a fire safe with birth certificates, vehicle titles, etc... And I leave the door open because the mildew is so annoying. Stinks terrible. Obviously leaving a fire safe open makes it pointless. I bought a bunch of silica packets online and they didn't help. I think one of my biggest problems was after adding some cash to the safe... I wonder if that introduced more aggressive mildew/bacteria :/.
