It sucks but I ordered this last night without knowing about the code. Has anyone had any luck with EB adjusting the price and providing that difference in a refund?

Not worth any $ spend on these cheap jackets. Bought 2 in Nov by using my rewards certificate, and both of them have feathers coming out from ultra tiny holes on the stitch line/joint. Once you wear this and sit on a car seat, you can see it all over. Its a waste on cirrus lite down.

Thanks for bringing a smile to my face. Seems there's a Seinfeld vignette for everything in life.

BTW, I bought the hooded version of this coat in Nov and it's really not bulky and I like it, but it doesn't get lower than the 40s in these parts.

I don't think you had this jacket, this is very light, close to the body.

Bought one for me son for xmas, he loves it. Kept him warm without the bulk. Packable jacket. Just bought another, quality is good in my opinion.

Learn to properly take care of down jackets before washing them. (even though I washed it as instructed, it made no difference)

I think it's actually duck down instead of goose down. Goose down arguably better than duck, however, it's still base on the quality of the % down mix with % feather and the age of the birds when collected.
With that said, I bought the same with hood at Costco and didn't experience any after wash shedding. Maybe quality is YMMV on these.
I like the jacket overall. Price is good, not too bulky. Comparing to my Marmot 650 fill, this jacket is not as warm. If temperature in the negative then I have to wear a sweater or base layer underneath where I can only wear T-shirt with my Marmot. Wind block is not as good on this jacket.

this is maybe not the same jacket this person is talking about. its not bulky at all. i love this jacket and it is quite warm. i have purchased 2 of them. i left it at a party in nyc on nye in 2019 and bought another one a few months later.

i wore this as my primary jacket to yellowstone in may 2019 and was pretty comfortable for the most part.

That was in reference to a Seinfeld episode. Had me too until TattyBear posted that Goretex pic above. It was a pretty obscure reference, but a good one!
