It's been $119 from what I can remember. It dropped last week to $89.99, but I suspect today or tomorrow is the last day at $89.99 before it goes back to $119

I'm looking to buy one of these video door bells.

Does it start recording video clip when it detects motion or when someone hits the door bell button?

This is the wired one that won't ring on your existing chime. It only uses its own plug in chime.

Are you sure about this? The first QA says that it works with the existing doorbell. This would be a deal breaker for me.

It depends if your transformer can supply enough power if not than they provide you with a jumper that will take the power from the bell and feed it to the Eufy device..

Look at the last sentence in the description:
"Note: Existing chimes will not work with eufy Security Video Doorbell."

You only use the existing doorbell wires to power this unit, it only rings its own chime, not your existing chime.

I'd recommend you stay away from 1080p version. The motion detection is awful. Either it sees car tires as people and bushes are humans or with detection zones does not see a large person huffing and puffing 50 seconds to come to your door and steal packages.

2K is much better at detection.

2k is the older line, 1080p is a test bench for the next gen Apple Secure video supported doorbell. That being said know there will be no support for HomeKit to this generation video doorbells
