I've always played civ games on pc, so I'm not sure about the switch. please enlighten me.
tldr: Switch has a slightly rougher learning curve for new to Civ players
I got Civ 6 on the free Epic deal. I've never played a Civ game before. I picked up the Switch version at BB for $7.99 cuz, why not. There are some subtle quirks between the Switch version and PC version that makes it slightly difficult to learn on. For example, PC navigation with the mouse is way easier and you get tool tip on objects. On the Switch, you use your controller to move to objects THEN have to press the "-" for the tool tip. Not sure if that is a config you can change but definitely quirky. Haven't played with touch on the Switch. If you are an experienced player and already know what the icons/objects are, then it may be intuitive.
So far it runs great on the Switch and it is nice for couch play. I wish touch/pen was better supported on the PC because I managed to get it loaded up on my Surface Go and SP7.

Is there any way to play this (or similar game) on cloud using browser?
Sorry no longer have desktop and not interested in investing in xbox/PlayS/switch?

Used the Pro controller on a TV, and found it clunky and a pain to play. Gave up after about 30 minutes and don't really expect to pick it up again.
I love Civ, but agree that mouse, keyboard, and hi-res screen feel necessary to make the experience enjoyable.
