Just so everyone knows if they don't already, NVIDIA removed any requirements for laptop makers to label lower powered mobile GPU's as "Max-Q" to indicate the design emphasis is on power efficiency and noise rather than straight performance. The only way we're going to be able to compare one 3000 series GPU to another is if the laptop makers grace us by telling us the wattage they're pumping thru the GPU. In extreme cases, you could end up with severely underpowered 3070 mobile GPU's being outperformed by high powered 3060's. Gonna be fun.

That, and the i7 CPU is 4 cores, 8 threads which is comparable to the Zen U series. The 5900HS uses 8 cores and 16 threads.

Got mine yesterday too. Overall very happy with it. Super impressed with the performance and battery life, agreed the screen bleed is slight and it could be brighter but the colors are beautiful

Got mine today, installed drivers and tested eth mining and was hashing at 47ish. Was hoping for a touch more, will mess with some OCing and see if i can get it bumped up into the 50s.

I made a bootable back up first with a 16Gb USB thumb drive.
Open Settings.
Click on Update & Security.
Click on Backup.
Under the "Looking for an older backup?" section, click the Go to Backup and Restore (Windows 7) option.

Seems like Bestbuy is getting Asus to build them versions w/ 8GB soldered if their G14 is any indication...hoping this isn't the same w/ the G15 :-(

Anyone else experiencing UPS weather related delays? Package was sent out 2/15, it is now 8 days later and still nothing has arrived, and UPS tracking doesn't show any specific tracking location showing what city it has passed thru and where it is currently as it usually does, instead it just shows a status of "in transit" and nothing more.

Notably, Best Buy marked this computer down to $1749 yesterday (from $1799). It is out of stock unfortunately, but for anyone who bought this recently, you can call/chat customer service and get a refund of the difference.
