are these better or equivalent to Noctua NH-D15 ?
with these things we can get some space around the board to do any work, with Noctua NH-D15 it is a pain.

If space is an issue, a water cooler of good quality is a better option, yes. But you need to understand that these water coolers require software to work. And it usually translates through a usb header. Not at the bios level with pwm. The sensors are proprietary, so if you use an OS that isn't compatible with whatever software the vendor puked out, you start to cook.

I use Linux, so it's something I keep in mind. You probably don't, so it won't matter to you. I have a Corsair H80i v2 water cooler, and would love yours instead. In fact, I'm shopping for one right now.

But back on topic, if space is a premium, that is the one reason why you would throw that cooler aside. Otherwise, you already have the best there is.

That is not accurate. The pumps run off of fan headers, which are controlled via the BIOS.

This particular one uses a 3-pin connector.

It even has the option to control the LED with a controller OR via the OS.

I'm not sure which brand you have, but that is a very odd design you are describing.

This is also quieter than a d15. Though the d15 is better for overclocking.

i got ML280, it actually cools better than dh15. with noctua my idle was high 30s with ryzen 9, now it is low 30s. then i checked the temp using cpuz stress cpu option, noctua was 66 and this thing is around 63. its noisy though than ds15. one reason could be the extra two fans now in the case (so cools better, but loud). and i am using only some basic sws like core temp and cpuz, nothing fancy.
and no need for a sw for this model, it got a physical switch to change the colors.

For a about $10 more you can get the Arctic Liquid Freezer II which is a better performer. No RGB though. For even more you can get the 280, 360, or 420.

I had an older cooler similar to the D15 and it was a huge pain to work around and made me nervous to move my computer. Worked really well though. Went to a watercooler and had much more room. It lasted about 7 years before I replaced it.
