Its an ok, price for a modestly decent sound bar, imo... I have one hooked up to my Samsung Q6 QLED via ARC and to me bass is very light and I have it turned all the way up. I normally listen to the audio on level 10-15 and I don't hear any decent bass until I get to closer to 20, which is pretty loud. Definitely don't get any house shaking bass. ATMOS and surround in general is pretty decent though. And just for comparison, my 6 or so year old Polk 3.1 sound bar, has 10x the bass at the same sound levels and this costs 4x more.

Which sound bar do you recommend for atmos and good bass and around $500? Planning to connect to a 4K projector.
Might not have Atmos, but at $600+ I'd probably start looking at a receiver+speaker setup. $300 for the 5.1 Klipsch setup from Costco and a $300 receiver and I'd be happy.

Idk... This sound bar didn't have any online reviews when I bought it and I ass-u-med that it would be a step bellow the Q950T, which it isn't. So, not sure my opinion is worth that much. If I were to suggest something else at this point for a 4k projector setup, especially if you can run wires and have room for a bit more gear, I would go with a full blown receiver and speakers. Sound stage will be way better and you will get a far more immersive experience then a sound bar with a large screen size. ...But, if you want to find a decent sound bar RTINGS.com[rtings.com] usually has decent reviews and has numbers/stats to backup their ratings.
