Hi there, I'm Fairly new to monitor shopping. Was going to place an order for this one but noticed a bunch of 1-star reviews noting "screen flicker issues". Can anyone confirm/rebut these issues (maybe it was a bad batch?).
Also, Would this be a good monitor for mixed use (50% microsoft office work/50% games & TV)?
And Is the Newegg return policy on monitors still as bad as i've heard in the past? Would there be restocking fees even if the monitor is returned due to screen flicker issues?

I would suggest getting similar deal from Costco at $269.99 for Acer model ED273UR with hassle free 90 day returns

The Costco option is enticing, but keep in mind this Acer at Newegg uses Freesync 2 for HDR 400. 60% brighter and since its a VA Panel it will still get dark. The contrast ratio and thus the picture quality will be noticeably better.
Since you plan to use it for mixed use entertainment.... that should be a priority. I get though that the better warranty for Costco is nothing to ignore.... decisions, decisions, but thought you might want that info to help make your decision harder
