Control Ultimate edition is one of the free games for PS+ Feb (it's a hair under 40gb). I've heard good things about this game and it retails for $40 so I felt that the membership at this price is almost paying for itself.

Click PlayStation store then on the top right there's 3 dots click it (next to the cart icon) and click reedem code and enter code. Once you enter everything it will reedem and all you want to do is go to manage subscription after it's done and turn off auto renew, if you don't want to get charged full price next year.

Why has this dropped in price so much in the past months? For years it was around $40, now I see it under $30 all the time.

Thank you very much for the prompt reply and the answer to my question. I sincerely appreciate it, my friend!

So, to clarify, I could order this myself, get the digital code sent to me in an e-mail, text the code to my son and then he could use it to renew/extend his membership that way?

Edit: Is there anything to worry about, with regards to ordering this code, from this place? How can they possibly sell this for less than 50% of the regular price?? It would seem to be too good to be true.
I'm a bit of a paranoid shopper so I understand your hesitation. I purchased a 1 year subscription from CDkeys for my son about a month ago as his current subscription was due to expire soon. I did exactly as you described in your 2nd paragraph and he was able to renew without a hitch. I've purchased PS+ subscriptions from them 2-3 times in the past without any issues.

I did the $29.99 deal a month ago, but this one is even better, got 2 more. I'm good till January 2024. Used Paypal and did separate transactions each purchase. No issues. Redeemed the code immediately on playstation.com.

Thank you very much for the reply and sharing some personal feedback with me, about buying from this website. I was able to make the purchase last night, which is a good thing, because, it looks like the deal is now expired. Usually, I procrastinate and don't take actually get around to taking advantage of many deals, because I'm stupid and incredibly indecisive; so, I was fortunate, to have actually taken advantage of the deal, while it was available.

I definitely wouldn't have done it, though, if it weren't for people promptly replying and sharing feedback with me. So, thank you very much, to all of you who took the time to reply and answer my questions about my hesitation and skepticism. I genuinely appreciate it.
