Not a bad deal! Would like to hear people's experience buying an iPad on Amazon.
Would also like to hear whether the iPad Pro 11 (2018 or 2020) is worth the extra money. I know the screen and speakers are better on the Pro than on the Air... Thanks for any comments!

The ipad air 2020 has a newer processor than the ipad pro 2020. The pro has the faster refresh rate on the monitor. Going from the ipad to the air has been a big jump. If faster refresh rate matter then the pro is good.

The iPad Pro 11 is enough for most heavy use iPad users. Combine it with the magic keyboard snd Apple Pencil and that set up is mwah for trading stocks, drawing, typing emails, using iPad as second monitor, etc. all 3 accessories combined make it a much more user friendly experience. Personally if you can afford it, I would go with these new iPads coming out, they should be insane. Also getting the 12.9 and 11 inch is an annoying decision because sometimes you'll be like man wish I got the bigger one, but other times when traveling or whatever you'll wish you had the 11 inch. Moral of the story= make enough money to afford both fkin iPads a few MacBooks n anything you want in life. Stay on the grind, with an iPad, or without an iPad!
New iPad Pros coming within the next few months are rumored by sources with good track records to have Mini LED screens. Mini LED being either equivalent or better than OLED in every way, while the current ones actually only have LED.
edit: quick correction, only the 12.9 is rumored to get Mini LED, not the 11 Pro.

Can anyone confirm the air 4 battery life? Quite a lot threads on line complaining about unusual battery drain
I "upgraded" to the air 4 256 gb model when it came out from an iPad Pro 2nd Gen 128 gb 11 inch. I am very happy and have never had an issue with battery drain or heat. My old pro would have severe battery drain and heat issues but it was almost 4 years old, that was the main reason I replaced it. So using the new air for 3 months now exactly the same as the old pro and I have never gotten below 50% battery with daily use.
The display is a huge upgrade in clarity and brightness. I don't use the keyboard or pencil mostly web surfing, youtube, netflix, spotify and email.
The only issue I have is the Touch ID button. It is great not having the old home button on the screen and it does take some time to retrain your mind as I have been using it since the original iPad 1st Gen. The Touch ID works great almost always like after a shower it may not register as well but the main issue is accidentally depressing it during use and it turns off the device. Not a full power down but it is a pain and does happen more than I would like.
Went from a base iPad 5 to the iPad Air 4 and have been sorely disappointed with the battery life. My old iPad lost about 1% daily of battery in standby mode while the iPad air loses 10% daily. While using with apple pencil it drops fairly noticeably but not bad enough to be an "issue" worthy of Apple's time. I did some Google searching and it seems to be common for other iPad Air 4 users. I would also say the screen isn't drastically better in-use than the regular iPad 8 my wife has - the anti-glare is minimal and negated by a screen protector, and the 'true tone' that adjusts the brightness based on ambient light often is simply not bright enough to feel like a huge jump - but that's just my 2 cents. I do love the quad speakers, the smaller bezels and the faster processor (can't really tell in most apps but Procreate and Afinity work really well). I don't love the touch/power button to unlock every single time I need to get on the ipad nor do I like the lacking headphone jack.

Most rumors suggest Pro update with Mini-LED debut.
