Great value for what it offers. VR is completely optional, and PlayStation Plus is not necessary to browse user creations (there currently is no online multiplayer yet).

I don't understand this comment. If the servers go down, how would the digital version fare any better?

I already have the physical, but am considering buying the digital so I don't have to switch discs any time I want to play this. I used to be very anti-digital, because physical retains some resale/trade value, but I've been coming around to the dark side lately, especially when it is this cheap.

I would say it is accurate to say the LIGHTING on Minecraft RTX looks as good or better than most PS5 games. The rest of the game is still simple block textures and character models. It's a style choice.

Also, if anyone is playing on Java, there is a shader pack by Sonic Ether called PTGI (Path Traced Global Illumination) that implements ray tracing. The results are comparable but slightly different. I believe it will eventually be free, but for now is locked behind his Patreon paywall as he works on it. Although I'm not sure when he'll ever consider it "done" and ready to be released for free if he's making an estimated $60-70k per month (based on his actual subscriber count) by keeping it paywalled on a monthly platform.

One of the biggest game regrets of my life. Purchased this and wanted a refund within a week. The games ppl create are HORRIFIC and nearly unplayable. The only value is in the creator. Even iPhone dumb games play way better then anything created on here. Best to just goof around and watch videos ppl created instead of the games that play like hot garbage. 15$ is a fair price to begin with
