Games release DLC (usually in the first 12 months after a release). A season pass is a way for folks to order the entirety of the planned content before release or buy the bundle of DLC at a discounted rate v buying each DLC individually.

For BL3 DLC was released in Dec, Mar, Jun, and Aug in the first year. They announced some additional DLC (Season 2) which is very different in its offerings and mirrors the successful formats of games like Fortnite. Season 1 was stand alone story add ons that add to the game.

Been trying to get into this game. But admittedly I'm ass. I keep getting killed by the first boss with the speakers. It's a fun little game though. Definitely worth the 20 bucks. If you have a series X, there's an enhancement upgrade for it. Ive only tried single player.

Sure, plot wasn't as great as Handsome Jack based, but Borderlands lovers like me will love it because there's a lot there to love. While the Season 2 DLC isn't included, I haven't even bothered to get it yet since there's not huge value there yet.

As I dunno why Pre-Sequel gets so much hate. It's actually a great game minus the Australian voice acting (gets old).

In terms of game mechanics, BL3 is definitely the best of all and the Mayhem mode is really a wonderful addition allowing you to scale difficulty/loot after 1st completion.

This game was horrible, I quit halfway through even though I bought the season pass.

The missions are okay it's exactly what you would expect but the story and acting was just so over the top woke. I don't personally care about most stuff in a video game but it just felt crammed.. to each their own. If that won't bother you is probably worth it at this price.
Yeah the game is pretty woke but it suffers mainly from boring missions and a bad plot with an annoying antagonist. I can deal with a certain amount of woke/sjw stuff if the game is good but this unfortunately is not.

Imo the pre-sequel was fantastic and even better than BL2. It was a dud because it cause it came so soon after BL2.

Buying this for the 1st season pass. I already own the digital base game. I'll use the dlc keys, then sell the disc to recover some of the cost.

FYI: Season pass 2 is not included. You want the Ultimate Edition if you want all of the BL3 DLC. Wanted to let you know in case you want to cancel your order.
Thank you for the 'heads up' on this, I appreciate it.
I saw that 4 DLC campaigns were included in this one... I think I'll just stick with this. These games are getting so big nowadays that they can get repetitive after a while (games have come a long way from when I started my at home gaming with the Sega master system in the 80's Smilie) .

NP. I hear ya. Coleco Vision was my first console. Games are a commitment these days.

Is it good as earlier borderlands for solo campaign playing?
It's a good game but my least favorite of the series. Despite the gameplay improvements the story is beyond awful, the maps you explore are boring, way to easy to get legendary weapons killing the thrill of loot hunts. Also hardly anyone joins my game coop unlike borderlands 2 where you still have a full party of randoms join you

I was playing on normal. I'm trying to get back into shooters. This one has a slide thing you can do that I never do. And there's a lot to learn with weapons and skills. I probably should play the earlier versions first.

Knowing there's an ultimate edition out there is the only thing stopping me from getting this deal. Hate it when there's so many different editions for a single game.

too bad you couldn't get past strong female characters being "woke"... and just play the game for the game.

so much awesome content here, they really nailed the gunplay and movement this time around, everything feels fluid and buttery smooth. the weapon variations, along with nade mods, shields, class mods and artifacts... how they interplay with the skill trees, the multiple skill trees. there's just so much to love with what they produced.
It's not really that.. you could tell they had actually edited dialogue. It was painfully obvious to me.

I always find it particularly funny when people think that because I complain about this I can't handle a strong female lead. I have been playing video games since start atari 7800 and I don't care about the lead as long as it works. The way they did this game obviously changing characters but not dialogue didn't resonate. The jokes where tasteless and with the same old gameplay and no riveting story.. well it sucked.
If you had a different experience tell everyone about it but please don't assume you know my tastes in a video game. Its doubtful any series will beat how awesome tomb raider was.. but you actually have to bring a good game to me first and not just populate it with what you think will sell.

Why can't they just release both season pass packs for everyone who already has the game, why make us buy the game over again
