Seems like a decent deal at $54.00 off (inflated MSRP?). Good assortment of drill and driver bits. Light research for previous deals don't show this exact set, and rough math tells me a combination of previous deals that closely match this are about the same price total.
Run of the mill deal but at least it has a good selection of the 2" long bits
Ok thank you - wasn't sure if it was a deal or not — don't recall seeing this particular combo. I hoped the SD community would (politely, as you did) let me know if this was a deal or not. Definitely not a "slick" deal…
If purchased separately from HD, the 100 piece drill and driver set is $34.97 and the 23 piece titanium drill bit set is $34.97. So $69.94 total if purchased separately. So the $59.97 combo is still a discount from that.
Not such a bad deal but there may be better deals going on if you look. I've been following these Milwaukee accessory deals at the home despot for a few weeks now. They currently have an instore deal for a 23 pack Titanium drill bit (impact hex) set for $25 (down from "normal price" of $35) (this is not advertised online - but ive seen this discount in person in multiple HD's here in Texas). One thing to note, the drill bits in OP's deal seem to be the older ones - check out the "x3 Life" versus the "x5 life" on the new ones such as this: https://www.homedepot.com/p/Milwa.../205879024
^^ which is $25 bucks in stores. The x5 life seems to be on account of the new Quad Edge tip.
Important to note is the deal in OP has a 1/2 inch drill bit which a lot of these packs don't have -- and that bit alone can run 15-20 bucks alone if bought as a single.
Lastly, I will point out this pack which is mostly what OP's deal is composed of: https://www.homedepot.com/p/Milwa.../312439848
You can pair it with 2 other items (of a selection of 14 Milwaukee accessory items) for an added discount of 20% (which brings the 100 piece pack down to $28) I haven't seen that advertised explicitly anywhere but on the item pages themselves at homedepot.com
The 20% off deal stacks with already % discounted items such as https://www.homedepot.com/p/Milwa.../313694151
and this absolute whopper of a Hole Saw set: https://www.homedepot.com/p/Milwa.../305966971

Man I was just about to post the same info as you. But I didn't know about the in store lower price on the 23 piece set (5x). That was the one I was looking at. Thanks for the tip! Hopefully it is nationwide.
Nice find, this set does include the 1/2" titanium bit which isn't included in a lot of them.
Edit: The photos on HD site for this deal do show the 1/2" bit but the set listed as included (48-89-4631) definitely doesn't.
Here is some info on that 1/2" bit! When I bought the 48-89-4631 set in August, the 1/2 bit" was in there. 4 months later I bought the set with the same exact number 48-89-4631 and was only going up to 3/8". Last week when I walked in THD, the same set had the 1/2" bit again. So YMMV as to what you'll get in this set.

Had ordered one and it arrived yesterday. Drills didn't include a 1/2. Thought maybe I had seen the pictures wrong but I guess I'll need to go complain to see if I can get that 1/2 bit.
As said, good selection of bits with several copies. Good starting kit if u don't have many bit heads or drill sizes.

Make sure you look at what these actually include because the 20 piece you actually get one less hole saw and an extra drill bit. Also, the 17 piece is only $70 which is probably the best deal unless you need some holes larger than 2.5". Typically in that scenario it's something special anyway.
The one that was up to 1/2" in August was $35. The one up to 3/8" in November/December was $25 (holiday pricing). 5X Red Helix designation in both. Same bit count (one of the smaller bits was doubled up for the holiday set to keep same bit count)

So I just got done texting with Home depot customer order support and told them that I had received a drill set that only goes up to 3/8 instead of the described 1/2. They gave me the option to either return the bundle for a full refund to order a new set or they would give a discount/partial refund for the order. Partial refund was 22.82!! Obviously took that deal. Once the credit comes though that means my order only costs 42.4 after tax. Still would have liked the 1/2 drill bit in the first place but with the price difference I can find it in another, maybe better, set.
Thanks picked this up and will contact HD if it doesn't include the 1/2 bit as stated. Basically free after the amex platinum offer. those sure went fast for me
