Good find if you need this pad right now. Also, the same price at Amazon [amazon.com]. I have bought a lot of these, and they are great. However, I have never had to pay more than $15 when on sale.

Wish they would update the design of this ugly ass thing.
I love over-sized mouse pads, but I don't see how this one is front page deal. As others have commented, it's ugly, and there are plenty of others on Amazon and eBay that look better at the same price or less. It's a good deal, but not FP material.

I think I have 6 or 7 of the extra large / desktop size mouse pads because I basically cover my entire desktop and swap them out every now and them.

I have had this mousepad for years and it's still as good as the day I bought it. Absolutely worth it at this price, highly recommend.

I have this at the office and now at home too since I started remote work with the pandemic. I'm a software engineer and type for hours at a time.

The desks my company bought us during the last refresh are made of cold material with hard surfaces and somewhat sharp edges. After hours of resting my arms on the desk to type, it would leave me cold, and with lasting pain in my arms and wrists due to the pressure.

So I started looking for solutions. I can't do the keyboard trays. Not for me. So I looked for something to cushion the desk itself and especially its edge.

I chose this mat because it cushioned the entire area in front of the keyboard and mouse. Basically anywhere I want to put my arms on the desk is cushioned by the mat. I have it hanging over the edge slightly to reduce the pressure caused by the pointy desk edge, and it works. No more cold, sore arms and wrists.

This look great, but I like the width of this around 12 inches.
I do agree that this graphic is horrid.

Can someone explain to me why anyone would want their keyboard to be on the mouse pad? I don't get it.
so your arms have some padding

smell kills the product - 1 year ago, Verified purchaser
I like everything about this product but one thing. It does not smell good. The smell makes my nose feel uncomfortable.

I don't have this so can't compare the surface material.

I used to use a gun mat that does the same. And there are many gun graphics choices to choose from.
To reply my own post, here are some gun mat that might also work and many choices. There are some waterproof ones with stitched edge which look very similar to Corsair.
I used to use an AR-15 parts graphics from Tekmat without stitched edge, which basically a supersized 3ft long cloth-surface mouse pad.

I own 3 of these, one for my personal system, one for my work set up and my son has one too. Love it to be honest, I agree it's not the most beautiful thing in the world but I don't think I could ever go back to just a mouse pad.
Any reason why this would be good for a work setup? I'm work from home and trying to figure why I should get this. Does it make things more comfortable? And if so, how?

When do you really need a truly hard desk surface?

Even when writing by hand its usually on a pad.

What's better, your phone hitting a pad or a hard desk?

Bought one in 2017 from BB, 10$ at the time but demand has raised price.
Honestly it's really good quality, still looks brand new-- zero frays and virtually no wear, even on the top surfaces.
I've wanted to replace it so many times for an updated look but honestly due to the durability and quality of this thing, I always second guess myself whether anything else would withstand time like this thing..

Ok, a bit of background, I've been WFM for about a decade now. I detest mouse pads in general. Spouse has tried for years to get to use mouse pads, but I always hated when I'm mousing and get to the end of the pad and it either gets stuck or falls off, but either way, it screws up whatever I'm doing. Then I got a nice desk and didn't want it destroyed. I got one of these, and have never looked back. It protects my desk, my mouse doesn't fall off the edge, and it is much softer on my arms and wrists than no mouse pad or even worse, a small mouse pad.
I like the large mouse pads so much, I even considered buying a custom one to fit the entire desktop, but I'd probably ruin a small spot on it, and my OCD would simply kill me from then on.
