HSN (with new member discount code HSN2021) Has the Moto G Power smartphone, 2020 model #XT2041DL, available for $99.99 with free shipping. Includes a full year of service through Tracfone - 1,500 minutes (aka 25 hours), 1,500 texts, 1,500 megabytes (aka 1.5 Gigabytes). Locked to Tracfone for first year, easily unlockable after. First year will be CDMA mode on Tracfone, but once you unlock after year of use, you can use GSM.

I was able to get 2 discounts on 2 of these easily at same address, using my wife and my name, and different payment methods.

Phone specifications:

model # XT2041DL first released April 2020
VoLTE and wifi calling
64 GB of flash storage for apps
4 GB of system RAM
5 Amp Hour battery (aka 5,000 milliamp hour)
2.0 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 Octa Core processor
6.4" IPS LCD display, 1080x2300 resolution
Adreno 610 GPU
Android 10 (will get upgrade to Android 11)
Dolby audio
4k video, 30fps
Bluetooth 5
USB C 2.0
10 Watt charging (some users have reported even faster charging using their old
Moto X4 charger, getting a "turbopower connected" message on screen, YMMV)
fingerprint, accelerometer, gyro, proximity, FM radio
supports up to 512 MB micro SD card for storage expansion

excerpt from review: "In our battery rundown test, which streams HD video over Wi-Fi at full brightness, the phone lasted an amazing 18 hours and 11 minutes. That's a significant jump compared with the Moto G7 Power (14 hours, 29 minutes) and one of the best battery life results we've seen in some time. With conservative use, we think the Moto G Power can probably last two days between charges."

Frequency bands supported:
GSM Mhz band Quad-Band 850/900/1800/1900
Primary 2G network GSM 850/900/1800/1900
Primary 3G network UMTS 850/900/1700/1900/2100
Primary 4G network LTE Cat13 (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 12, 13, 14, 17, 18, 19, 20, 25, 26, 29, 30, 66, 71)
TD-LTE (38, 39, 40, 41)
Primary data network GPRS, EDGE, UMTS, HSDPA, HSUPA, HSPA+, TD-LTE, LTE, LTE-A

The SD effect. For $100 it was a very good deal.

I have and hate this phone. They didn't put gorilla glass on it so it requires a case and it has some quirky software issues. I don't recommend it at all.
It uses a competitor to Gorilla Glass. It's scratch resistant and is basically just as good. Maybe Gorilla is a few percent stronger or something but I don't consider that a big deal.

I've never seen anything glitchy with the software. It's standard Android and works just fine for me. It's a solid phone that does everything very well for this price range, though it's not on the level of high end phones.

Appreciate the reply and suggestion!
If you dont mind waiting 2 months to use the phone you can get it from Google Fi (I'm waiting the 2 months) for half the price of the Target consumer cellular deal.

1500 Min/Text/Data for 365 Days, this is total per year, not month
Yep, it's about 10X what I use a year - I'm always left with 90% of my minutes and texts, because I use my Google Voice landline for 99.9999% of my calls and texts. I just want this so I can get roadside assistance if my car dies for any reason, and so I can call home very occasionally if I'm delayed a lot due to a traffic jam.

My wife has this phone and she likes everything about it. I'm pretty impressed as well. Can't beat it for the price.

It's absolutely not like gorilla glass. I've owned most of the Moto Gs and this one is not in the same league. It's all scratched up after very little time, the software has issues almost daily, and it has quirky issues such as the power button being a bit too sensitive so that if you're holding the phone you might shut it down or restart it. I strongly advise against getting it. My old G5 plus is in better shape than this one and I used that one for years.

Bought these as "iPods" for $50/ea on Amazon during some very fortunate pricing mistake/timing. Can't say anything about their usefulness as a phone/reception but they're really decent performers with an adequate camera if anyone else is looking at that use case.
I have this phone also from that Amazon deal a few months ago.

I put my Safelink SIM card in it and it works perfectly for me.

My Safelink is running on T-Mobile.
I have Wi-Fi calling with this phone.

Data is fast but I can't Hotspot out with it but that's okay.

I really like this phone.
Calls are loud and clear.

If you are using it as a phone you definitely will want a protective case for it because it's slippery.

This isn't a thousand dollar phone so it doesn't have thousand dollar specs but it is a really good budget phone.

Those are for phones that do not work on TracFone's WIFI calling service. This phone will actually do WiFi calling over TracFone.

I would not enable wifi calling (counts as minutes used) stick with Google Voice

Will they unlock after a year or will you need to get one month's service after the 365 days?
