Amazon[amazon.com] has 24-Oz Old Bay Seasoning for $6.38 when you 'clip' the 20% off coupon located on the product page. Shipping is free with Prime or on orders of $25 or more.
Could just be old stock in warehouse. Seasonings flavors fades over time requiring you to use more seasoning. Typical with dry seasonings that are old.
this exact one is $5 in Costco i just bought it !!
Personally i do not like the flavor.

This is a good deal, unfortunately I've found that Old Bay just doesn't taste the same as it used to. I bought this exact package a couple months ago and it's bland (I don't have covid). Still good, but not the same. They probably messed with the recipe to shave cost or it could be the move to plastic packaging from tin.
TU - great deal on a pound and a half of Old Bay. For comparisons sake, 6oz size is $3.99 @ Target and $3.64 @ Walmart. This bottle is 300% larger for about 60% more money.

Old Bay is best fresh. Who knows how long Amazon sits on this in the warehouse?
Plus, I only get the can size because I can't finish 24 oz in a decent amount of time. 24 oz only makes sense if you are steaming crabs or making hundreds of wings.
Only because 0/10 wasn't an option. Now if they had a link, that would have brought Poe's Law into it, but much better IMO. So a link and a wink FTW. https://www.mountainmommaorganics...seasoning/

Old Bay is a regional seasoning.
Costco's everyday price is definitely cheaper but only if Costco in your area carries it. I remember seeing at Costco all the time when I lived in the DMV but after moving to the west coast I can now only find the small containers at grocery stores, and it costs more than this.

I have a relative that recently retired from McCormick and yes, they have tweaked the recipe. Added more salt as a filler to cut cost. I don't have a really old can to compare the sodium content between years ago and now, but I'll take her word for it.
