Since some people mentioned the reviews, I just wanted to point out that this game has a free demo from the Switch eshop. I recommend trying out the demo to see if the gameplay appeals to you, since review's can't speak for everyone's taste.

I make my 12 year old son grind on Lets Go Pikachu for the Meltan box for me. Does that make me a bad parent?

Out of stock on Gamefly for used. So $45 is the best you can hope for with this game.

No, Target has Pokken, Mystery Dungeon, and both Let's Go games on sale for 25% off. While they all sell for $60 each on the website, Pokken and the Let's Go games sell for $50 in the store. Take 25% off the $50.
