Are you talking about the ambient sound feature that allows you to hear your surrounding noises via the earbuds? It's great because I can listen to stuff and still have a semi-regular conversation with people

The difference between this and the regular version is this comes with a set of BTS photocards that you sell for $50 or $5-10 each.. No joke, look on ebay for Samsung buds+ BTS photocards.
If you have a Samsung phone you can set it up so that an animation that triggers when the buds connect. For the BTS edition the animation is cartoon versions of BTS.
If you don't want that then just don't set it up with the Smart Things app.

these things will be flooding the market in the next couple weeks though so don't expect to get that for them anymore.

Love these buds (not sure about the "edition"). Probably my favorite wireless buds I've own so far. More comfortable than the Jabra 75t, great sound, and decent battery life. If you have a Samsung phone they even do some extra tricks.

Do note that the cups that come with the buds aren't good for people with small ears.

Yep, I ordered the watch but skipped past the buds. Didn't even think about it until I read your comment. I chatted in and they agreed to adjust a new order of the buds to $53. Good looking out!

Only getting $10 off for the trade-in despite showing $80 before moving buds to the cart. Samsung chat said they can't help. I've had too many bad experiences with Samsung support to try again.
