I have a greenworks I modded for kobalt batteries, and I was eyeing this as an upgrade but the green works has done well with the plastic auger.

but I do want the upgrade lol,

I'm on my second season with this snowblower in Minnesota. It's lighter and more maneuverable than my old 2 stage. No gas, instant start, and I finish the driveway way faster now. Sometimes I go out a couple times if it's a heavy storm. No problems up to a half foot of snow I am careful of ice and huge chunks at the end of the driveway after the plow comes through but it chops up and spits out most everything.

I agree with everything said here. I own this snowblower and I love it. As mentioned, I wish the wheels were powered. I don't have much of a slope to my driveway but it can be really difficult if you've got a steep gradient to the driveway.

I love that it's quiet and requires no real maintenance. I do wish the auger was metal but I haven't had any issues with it so far. I feel like that'll be the first to go given its plastic.

I'm in NJ and this thing pulled me through all the snow we got this year. I would not recommend it for any places that gets tons of snow. We had a little over a foot of snow a few weeks back and it struggled but was able to manage.

I also have this snowblower and I do love the ego system but I agree this model is not as nice as the mowers and string trimmers are in comparison to their gas counterparts.
It is orders of magnitude better than the 80v green works snow blower.
In fairness we don't get serious snow here in Kansas City but we did get this winter a good 8" and the ego worked like a champ.
It did start catching on the driveway and a quick google search says that I need to replace the scraper bar... sure enough my scraper bar after two seasons is shot... fortunately ace hardware had them in stock for $20... apparently they wear out quickly

Fix it up bro. Got me an old 2 stage Craftsman at a yard sale for $10. Bought a new carb (cheap as the rebuild kit) and a fuel line. Working two stage for under $40... Oh yeah!

Buy new for sure. Bought mine when a cashback site had 10% back and stacked it with discounted discover ace gift cards. Probably will sell the 2 batteries and quick charger and end up paying like $100 for it
