I have 4 wyze cams and 4 eufy. The wyze are now in a box waiting for me to figure out what to do with them.

Eufy is more clear in day and night. The app works way better. Motion detection is also better.
I use them with HomeKit, and I also put hot glue over the open areas on the back of them (to kinda water seal them) and placed them outside. One is under a porch and the other has been rained on and snowed on. Both still working perfectly. Only thing that is a bummer is two way audio does not work on these via HomeKit.

Does anybody have experience using these with Apple HomeKit? I am debating on if I should get them to monitor my aquarium and cats while away from home and am running my smart devices all through HomeKit. Thanks!

Not too big of a deal to me but I'm guessing you can still access it from the app if you have it set up as well, right?

From eufy site:

The Key is in the Detail: View every event in up to 2K clarity (1080P while using HomeKit) so you see exactly what is happening inside your home.

Just an FYI

Thanks, I'm wondering if I can use both and just use the HomeKit for easier quick access and for the free cloud storage.

Good:
Somewhat sharper than the rest of the 1080p cameras
Stable feed (used as baby cam and it works for 10 hours straight)
Affordable
Attractive and good build quality
HomeKit Video support (for those who care)

Bad:
No simultaneous viewing of different feeds
Limited to two simultaneous log-ins
Phones home

I block the Eufy's access at the router level from connecting outside the network. HomeKit doesn't support the use of the microSD card storage but I've learned I can still access the 24/7 microSD recordings via the Eufy app, I just need to give the camera internet access again. I only unblock the camera from the internet if I need to access 24/7 recordings for something that didn't initiate a HomeKit event recording, which rarely happens. I find HomeKit recording far more reliable than my Wyze or Arlo recordings.

Just FYI, I have three of these outside. I just covered the speaker, back plug area and, micro sd card slot with small pieces of waterproof tape.

I literally have them outside in the snow and rain. Not protected. They haven't failed. One of them the usb power adapter is even in the rain.
