If I sign up for this now will I get the offer to use on the Dell G15 SE deal? Does this only work on the Platinum card or does it work on one of the cards that has no annual fee?

Shit I bought a PC last month and this comes out. Bought Final Fantasy Remake and then they add it to PS Plus. It looks Shim isn't on my side. 😣

My chased freedom is also giving me 5% if I spend between $1000 to $2000 purchase (min $50 to max $100 back )

Can I split my cost on two cards? Does dell allow that?
If you plan to spend that much Dell does allow using multiple cards for one transaction. I used 3 cards last year.

Yes. last year I used 3 cards in one order. One primary and two AUs. However this year my AUs do not have this offer. So only one available this year.

Thanks - So, if I use one primary card and one additional user card - does the purchase amount need to double to $1000 ($500 per card) as well?

Yes. The total costs (including taxes) charged to each card need to be 500 or more to trigger the offer.

I was planning on $1000 on Chase that gives me $50 back plus $500 on AMEX that gives me another $100 back. Thats $1500 including tax (so $1,370 purchase) which is not difficult for a desktop. Plus 2% back from shoe rack thats another $30 so $180 back on $1500 not too bad (IF I can make it all work). If I find another AMEX card then I guess I can split up and spend $2000 and get a 3080 desktop which is rare. But I understand the money has to be charged to the cards and Chase is expiring March 16th so the item has to be shipped.

But again reading on reddit I am turned off from Dell altogether with their proprietary connectors and motherboards and ram etc.

Everyone has different needs. To me my upgrade priorities are CPU, ram, and storage so not being able to upgrade GPU is not really a concern to me at least. GPU and PSU upgrades are far more complex and riskier.
Personally if I were to upgrade GPU and PSU I would just build my own.
Dell did change now all the cheaper XPS 8940 models only come with 360w PSU.....that basically killed all the Dell Outlet deals... for me. I'm quite happy though with my XPS 8940 with 2060. Additional $100 off makes it even better.

What was the previous PSU the XPS 8940 came with?

I upgraded from XPS 8900, which has a 460w PSU.
My new XPS 8940 has a 500w PSU. The basic version of XPS 8940 has 360w PSU.

How do you get deals on AUs? I have AU on my plat card but I don't see separate offers for them.
