Who here has purchased from Tiger Direct. Their online ratings look terrible. Was wondering if someone has a recent firsthand experience with them on here. lots of comments from 2015. Thanks!
This is a killer deal. The 1000va BUPS Pro is usually $160+, so for $20+ less you get a bigger battery and a (probably) decent surge "bar".
This beats the pants off cyberpower (trash)
Yes it is a good deal and Just bought one. I have need for 3 UPS units total (PC, NAS, Router) Had 3 cybers 1000+va and at about 3 years old all died (panel failures ) such that replacement battery is not an option. Never again buying cyber.. I have replaced the batteries on 2 1500va APCs with success.... Still going strong... Happy with results

I have purchased from them 3 times in 2020 and got my products as advertised not speedy delivery.... Have NOT had to return any products so cannot speak to using customer service.
anyone comforted in knowing these are replaceable... go look up the price now... cause you frugal guys wont be replacing them at the price they're sold at.
Buying the APC unit itself is one thing, but no one should buy their batteries (unless your company is paying for it). The off-brand batteries are probably made in the same factory anyway but simply lack the APC sticker.

I purchase the APC Battery Back-UPS Pro BX1500M from tigerdirect back in late November 2020, received an email confirmation that it was shipped and after almost 2 weeks, did not get it delivered. Contacted their customer service 4 times between Dec 12th to Jan 10th and nothing ever happened. They said they were investigating it with FedEx and I never received the battery. Filed a dispute with PayPal and received my refund a week later. Tigerdirect has one of the worse customer service.
