$340 NOT $400
an admin should fix the OP's incorrect "$400" title ...that's regular price, but the posted Amazon link shows $340 - I bought one immediately.

Not sure why this getting TD'd, but this is the first time I have seen this on sale...ever. If I wasn't getting lambasted on taxes, I would get this. Every time I go into Best Buy I play with the demo unit and marvel at the audio quality. Just wish I had the spare $ right now dammit.

Probably because the title says $400, which is the regular price.
holy crap, ya'll, it's $340!! not $400, like the title says!
I almost gave it 'thumbs down' and posted a smart ass comment denigrating the OP... but thanks to @BTspkrguru's comment, I ordered one w/ Amazon card (5% back)! Rep to him!
I'll thumbs up, if OP gets his sh*t together and fixes the title. This should be front page, IMO... I've been eyeballin' this model for friggin ever
Irked that the top review claims "it requests location data when it doesn't need it". Further irked at the uninformed masses believing this misinfo.
100% of Android apps that scan bluetooth require location permission. This is because security researchers were able to pinpoint people's location based on bluetooth addressed and signal strength. So now Android requires any app that called the bluetooth scan API to receive permission from the user to "know" their location. They aren't going to go to the trouble of actually triangulating your location, but they can, so Android warns you. You can still scan for the device in the Android settings and connect that way, and then you don't need to grant permission to anything.
How many watts? How many decibels? 100W and 100dB?
Is the turtlebox for $350 at 120dB a better deal? Isn't 120db over 100x the power of 100dB due to the log scale?
Is even the W-KING D8 at 50 watts and $65 a better choice?
It's so hard to find definitive info on how loud these things go. All I know is the Soundboks is the loudest battery powered bluetooth speaker I have found. At least without DIY and soldering.
Its Produces on 229 Watts and the sound range is 100 Decibels, which is double than the normal hearing value. It is an excellent deal for audiophiles craving for a loud unit having great bass.
Remembers up to 8 paired devices. Bluetooth 4.2 - 5.0
PAIRS WITH BOOM AND MEGABOOM
Connect it with any BOOM, MEGABOOM, or even another HYPERBOOM to reach noise-violation levels of fun. Just fire up the app to wirelessly connect and add one, two, or more speakers to kick-start a party of truly ultimate proportions. (Get ready to set off some car alarms.)
Only Ultimate Ears Bluetooth speakers can pair with each other. Pair up to 150 speakers for the ultimate sound experience. To pair your speakers together, every speaker must be updated with the latest speaker Firmware
thx for posting! i've have a couple megabooms and use them often during nice weather. Didn't even know this existed. Not sure i'd chuck it in the pool to amuse people like the megabooms though.

200wrms, 9 hour battery (optional 16), 5 drivers, very impressive audio quality.
If you have Unidays, you can take 20% off from Ultimate Ears directly, and it'll be $320 instead of $340. Slightly cheaper.
I picked one up a couple weeks ago and couldn't be happier.
