Starting 2/24 T-Mobile will offer AT&T and Verizon customers a new switching promo. Switch to T-Mobile and keep your eligible phones and T-Mobile will pay off your device up to $650 per line switched via virtual rebate debit card. They will also waive associated switching costs, which means the $10 sim card fee and $20 support fee per line.
T-Mobile is launching new Magenta and Magenta Max plans that same day as well.

I've used T-Mobile in the past in Bay Area and it sucked, but not sure how much it has improved now. Not to mention the Netflix and Tuesday perks look pretty nice.

Thanks for the clarification. This is such deceitful language in the details as I just noticed they are advertising this for 3 lines.

It's still pretty bad in the Bay Area, especially indoors (assuming you're talking about CA.) In my experience, AT&T is consistently better.
Have 7 lines Magenta for $96 (hookup + 5 free lines), don't want to mess that up, but was thinking of upgrading to Plus which would have only been $16 more for the account. Guess Max will be the same?
If price stays the same, keep my hookup and free lines, get some more data. . .and jump on their most current lineage of plans to future proof somewhat. . .seems a no brainer??

Most of the T-Mobile Tuesday stuff is a joke, nowadays.

I have the same question. I have 2 paid lines, 3 free lines + hookup. Should I upgrade to magenta plus to lock myself into the max at the discounted price at $16 for the account? Seems like all free lines added after 06/2019 will stick as well as hookup.
This +1. We're in the market for a couple of new iPhone 12s
