It was selling for 1,298.00 back in October (Amazon Prime Day). The question is whether it will ever go back to that all time low price.

Thought that was the 2019 model (A8G).

Wanting to say the biggest difference between the two models is the A8H model is a little brighter than A8G.

I am hoping the 65" will go down to $1800 again sometime this year.

Can get the LG CX for cheaper... I just bought one last week.. Loving it... Around $1349-$1399 but some places are offering a gift card too.. I bought at Sam's for$1349 and got a $100 Sams giftcard.. Love everything about the TV except the remote.

Green toe I got it for $1999 with tax and shipping included. So pretty close to that deal depending on tax in your area.

Wonder if this has the same eArc issues as the X900H? Not sure I can trust Sony anymore after the 900H. Worst TV I ever bought.

If you would rather get an LG CX, I would check this video out first

I think they use the same panels. I own both, honestly I can't tell much difference panel wise. Sony appears has better picture quality. One thing I can say for sure is LG's Webos sucks arse. It's missing some apps I need (e.g. VLC player), and it has stopped supporting DTS sound. While Sony has no problem with DTS and can load android apps. If Sony supports HDMI 2.1 I see no reason to go with LG.

LG is great for hardcore gaming, Dolby Vision looks a little better on LG, lets the colors fly, very good processing for SDR and HDR, WEB OS is more stable than Android TV.

Sony has better motion, processing is a little better than LG more depth and cleaner gradation especially with SDR, tends to look natural and balanced but some scenes/content look stunning similar to LG, Android TV gives you more options because its android but buggy and unstable most people add Firestick etc.

You either see the difference with processing or you don't, i prefer Sony's motion SDR and HDR, i prefer DV on LG, i dont game but even if i did the Sony is good enough. Might be worth taking the chance to wait for Black Friday though might be some deep discounts on these 2020 and newer 2021 models 55 and 65 inchers.

Yes, but that is 9 months away. The TV will be almost another year older. That is why it will be cheaper, just like computers.

Thanks for the compare and contrast.
