This is the same deal from a while back but they only have the worst condition ones left.

Refurbished means same old battery. I trade my Kindles in when the battery is dying. Good luck getting more than a few month from a refurb with an old battery.

Agree for the most part. But this is a 2019 battery should still be good for a few more years.
I've ordered two Kindles from woot. A Kindle pw 2nd gen 2013 ($30) and a Voyage 2014 ($50). Both of them have batteries that drain pretty quickly. But they still last for several days.
I decided to return the 2nd gen pw and I was able to return it for free, no return shipping cost. I am keeping the Voyage because I like the upgrades it has. When the battery starts bothering me enough I'll replace it. Looks like you can get a new battery for these for under $20 from ebay.
