Good to decent deal. If you have a console or planning on purchasing one (eventually), I recommend waiting for hdmi 2.1 models to trickle out. But this is a fantastic deal for pc gaming.

Unfortunately no graphics card can really play AAA titles at 4k @ 120hz, yet.

Depends on the title. My 3090 can handle everything I've thrown at it thus far and it should be able to get close if not meet 120Hz

I bought this when it was listed for 650 back in November. Gorgeous screen, except the backlight bleed was terrible. I returned it and will wait for a 32" screen

I'm curious to know what recent AAA title type games give you close, at least 110 fps. Most demanding games I've seen made within the past 3 or 4 years only get 90 fps or so. Hopefully 4th gen Nvidia can truly get there.

uh incorrect. i guess it depends on what games you consider AAA but many online multiplayer games get over 120hz/fps @ 4k. PUBG COD etc

This is the best deal Ive seen in like 4 months and I religiously following the deals on 27'-32' 1440p-4k high refresh rate IPS panels... trying to figure out the market and pull the trigger.

but this is a good deal, and is future proof for your RTX 30 series

DLSS is your friend...and Ultra, no, but with graphic tweaks, possibly...

27" inch is just too small. At least 32 or bigger. The price is good, but the size were bad.
You got downvoted, but 32 4k 144hz is ideal. If you play on QHD and UHD on 27, you probably cant tell a difference.

It truly looks like AAA titles are highly variable. Most benchmarks had Detroit Become Human, AC Odyssey, RDR2, Hitman 2, MS FS 2020, etc. Sure you can play PUBG but you can easily play that game with a low tier card ad well. The true potential of this monitor is not been able to be seen yet.

Yeah. Spending $1500 on a card to only play at maybe high doesn't seem to justify getting this monitor as well.

I have had xv273k back when it's launched. Overall good design and decent feature set. just the panel itself is lackluster(especially at high refresh rate) and backlight bleeding is too much for me. So I returned it. I am now using LG27 950. Less features but a perfect panel to me. I feel really satisfied using it with dp1.4 dsc. Probably won't upgrade till microLED panel comes out. Personal view on 2 things. 27 inch is too small for 4k? No I think it's too big. I think ideal size should be 4k at 23inch and 5k at 27inch. The reason is of course for high PPI. 200 PPI, aka apple's Retina standard for monitors, really matters for human eyes. 2nd, Few people needs to play AAA at over 100hz(future AAA will also crush future GPU, the performance target of developers will be 60hz for a long time), because AAA game is not competitive. I need it because I play PUBG rank and try to reduce every last bit of input lag and a consistent high refresh rate. 4K is just for my eye candy.
