Free in-store pickup. Shipping makes the deal not as sweet, but if you are able to pick this up it's a great deal!

This would be an okay deal with the chainsaw alone, but coupled with the 5ah battery this is a smoking deal!
Competitor pricing is around 220

CCC on Amazon shows the lowest price for this set was 199.00 on Aug 31, 2018.

So that leaves you at $50 for a 5ah battery which is on the low side you'd pay for one in the grey market (eBay/Craigslist/FB Marketplace).
Great deal if you can get it for $150 picked up.

Or another way of asking, is it worth it to buy this chainsaw if you already have a cordless recip? (Versus say going for a bigger chainsaw)

I don't see many people cutting down trees with recip saws. Blade would snap or get stuck if you did.

Having actually done this... because I was too lazy to dig for the chainsaw and the Milwaukee was charging (and I didn't have a Dewalt chainsaw handy)
You run into a lot more of a vibration issue especially on branches / limbs
You can use a 6" or even 9" recip saw blade, but the first cut is tough to get going on loose limbs.
It takes a bit longer to cut 2-3" branches off a tree and anything 4-5" takes a whole lot longer.
When cutting into the dirt (limb laying on the ground) a too long recip blade either vibrates like crazy or you're digging into the dirt.
Trimming / pruning small branches is pretty much impossible because of the vibration.
In a nutshell... better than a hand saw, but if you're dealing with loose branches, or thicker cuts, then a chainsaw is better. For tiny branches, a lopping tool can work too.
Went through this last summer when I had to deal with a few years of gatherings from some Aspen and Pine (softwoods) in order to throw it into the back of the pickup and take it to the compost yard.
I don't know this specific on, but I'd advise anyone to get an extra battery if you're going to be cutting more than a couple small things with this.
Having said that, I definitely love my battery powered Chainsaw when the battery is charged.

These are the batteries that I got for our Dewalt leaf blower last year. So far they have been great, and way less expensive than name brand.

Are you completely unversed in the realm of fluid dynamics? You absolutely get higher PSI by putting your thumb over it. You're looking for the Navier-Stokes equations - https://boards.straight
