Don't get the base version of the game. Just get the Complete edition.

Complete edition comes with all of the DLC bundled in. It's a pretty big download, though.

I read somewhere that if you buy Complete you also unlock the base Standard version too, so you can download just the base game if you're low on Switch space and don't want to download DLC.

Edit: Confirmed that the Standard game is a free download after buying the Complete edition. Smilie

When you see how much stuff is in this game, I think you'll instead be amazed at how small it is.

I am feeling pretty dumb right now.

I bought Witcher 3: Wild Hunt GOTY via Epic, and have played it on PC and GeForce NOW, so I know cloud saves are working.

I just bought it on Switch, but my options for cloud-saving are only Steam and GOG. How do I get my Epic progress saved into Steam so I can pick up on Switch? I added it to my Steam library, but I must be doing something wrong.

Wasn't it like $40 during BF 2020?

I just bought this for my Switch Lite and synced it with my saves from my PC after finding out about cross-saving being available for the Switch and PC (both Steam and GoG versions). The graphics aren't as nice as my gaming PC but the game is still fun and amazing for a portable games console.

I'm in the same boat! When I have more time I'm trying to figure out if I can force saves into steam or gog. I'm hoping we find someone here who has an idea

Yeah, I don't think it's going to work. I guess you can manually drag your cloud saves into your Steam account from Epic, but that's not going to push up to Nintendo. And it would have no way to get from your Nintendo account back to Steam/Epic.

I just gave up and bought a copy from GOG, and started the game over.
