I don't think the price is worth for this product and my main reasons are below: -
This has lowered powered Max-Q version. I have checked the official spec from MSI site but there is no mention of the TGP. So, probably a 60W version with Dynamic Boost for another +15W.
The Display is extremely poor. It is the 144 Hz version of the display with 45% NTSC and poor response time.
Only 8GB Ram at this price
There are far better alternatives at this price point, with 8 Core i7 and full powered RTX 2070 or RTX 2070 Super at a slightly increased price which will outperform this low powered RTX 3060, have better display, battery and thermals.
The Gigabyte A5 series which I have posted here, comes with far superior 100% sRGB 240 Hz Display, Ryzen 7 5800H, 16GB Ram and a MAX0P or high wattage variant of RTX 3060 and costs just $60 more.
The Intel version of Gigabyte G5, available at Newegg at $1099, posted here as well, offers far better spec than this.

Struggling to find the Gigabyte A5 for only $60 more here. I can only find one for $1551...

I got this laptop a few weeks back.
It isn't the best deal, but it shipped fast. I have had it for a week.
Comes with only 8gb RAM, the ram was moderately easy to upgrade, but it does likely mean you are making warranty discussions a bit tricky in the future.
The screen isn't as bad as the specs state. It is a little on the grayer side for all colors vs my VA panel, but I don't hate it.
The 3060 runs at 75w constantly, but it is also QUIET. I can't imagine how loud the Max-P versions must be. I had an older laptop that would spin the fans 100% and, I would rather have a downclocked video card than one that sounds like the neighbor hired a yard crew.
The Intel chip is fine, I would have preferred to have the Ryzen, but whatev.

Mines eth at 37mh/s with core -500 and mem +650.
If it's convenient for you sometime, could you post some frame rates/graphics level if you play games?
The only game I have been playing recently is Valheim and it is well over 80fps at 1440p with most settings maxed.
Damn you!!! (Shakes fist @ freddingo)
Sorry, that's fun sarcasm as I haven't been able to get Valheim to stop lagging, crashing and pretty much every other annoying graphical issue you can think of. Enjoy it though, I hear it's pretty fun...Cheers.
For a last-gen cpu that runs slow, prone to overheating and drains your battery like crazy and with only 8GB of RAM. I guess there is a sucker born every minute. Ryzen 5600H with the 3060 at $1150 will mop the floor vs this.
Costco is selling a similar model (10750H, 16GB ram, 512 SSD + 1TB HD & RTX 2070, 17.3" 1080p) for $1199 starting Mar. 10 - might be worth waiting just to avoid any potential newegg hassles. MSI GE75 Raider Gaming Laptop - 10th Gen Intel Core i7-10750H - GeForce RTX 2070 - 1080p

They are both MSI and have the same CPU, but that's about the end of the similarity. The Raider has a much better display, bigger display, is heavier and thicker, better cooling for gaming (115W), better keyboard, better speakers, and has spots for two M.2 drives as well as a 2.5".
The 2070 115W in the Raider is probably faster than the (80w?) 3060 GF65.

Thanks. Ya, the GF series is a more "budget" build. That Raider looks identical to the one I bought recently for $1100, only it has a 2070 instead of a 2060. A 2070 should be good for 10-15% more gaming speed.

How did you know it would be on sale Mar. 10?

EDIT: On the other hand, these guys only saw a 7% difference between the 2070 and 2060. https://www.techspot.co
