This is TLC technology (3-bit MLC = TLC) for anyone wondering.

I think it is a typo in the title. It should be TLC.

I paid $60 on November 23 for one. Upgraded from a cheap 240gb SSD. This is my first NVMe M.2 drive and gen 3 is the latest version my motherboard supports

Use the price request feature, or just go to the store.

The more bits per cell the less reliable the storage. So QLC is 4 bits and worse for reliability, but more dense and can store more in the same space.

I think it means not as good as the product try to claim but is still good, in reality it does not matter. it was like claiming a 4-star hotel as 5-star-like hotel.
Guess he was pointing a marketing gimmick [reddit.com].

P31 if you're using in a laptop, lower temps, lower power consumption and better performance overall.

No it's fine and will last for many years for most users. I would avoid QLC and the up and coming PLC.

It's not a typo, 3-bit was also called MLC (multi-level cell) before they changed its' name to TLC to avoid confusion.
