Nintendo eshop has puzzle bobble for $3.99. Looks like it's the first time the eShop has had it on sale.

I forgot that the 1 player game mode in this one is puzzle mode. Dangit.
What do you mean? It's not like the 1 player version in the arcade, where you just try to clear level after level?

Does anyone know if this is a remaster or is it a direct port from years ago? I know it doesn't change the fun factor, but I have a big TV so I was wondering if it's going to be super pixilated. TIA

I used to play this at work all the time on a PowerPoint presentation until Office 365 disabled Flash-embedded material. Can vouch for its addictive-ness!

Oh you have a big TV? w/HDMI? Wow! I'm jealous. It looks great on my 20 inch CRT 🤷 🤣

Yeah, I like 1p vs cpu. Later games let you choose between that and puzzle mode (which is the 1p screen clear mode in this one).

There is some internet magic called a link. Often they're blue. If you click on the link in the first post, you can see for yourself! Abracadabra!
I did click on the link, but oftentimes the picture does not truly represent the product. I was hoping for some real-life experience from players that can give good feedback and not someone that tells me to click on the link. Thanks for your help and response.
