Mine was stuck for a while and I paused it. After un-pausing it went better and finished. Very not smooth.
Do you have any idea, precisely, what the disk space required would be? I'm over 80GB free on both drives. I assume the installer would tell me it's running into space issues, but it's Microsoft after all. If I click on the Win10 notifications panel, I can see all six games all saying "starting". Nothing is starting.

I might try a reboot, and logout/login of Microsoft's store.

When I go to the Microsoft Store App and click on downloads, it shows all the games, with "error see details" - you click on it and it says "Before you can install this add-on, you need to install the app or game it works with.". What? Confused

Windows is saying 122GB in the program manager. I couldn't tell from the install. Game works OK. But one of the worse installs. I'd expect better from M$.

Wow, I finally found a place it listed the download size: 168.7GB!! That's crazy. That's clearly a problem for me.

I finally cleared 160GB on one drive, and suddenly Microsoft says "pick a drive with at least 150GB". You would think that check would be the most basic install requirement, not spitting out random errors that have no relevance. Such a Microsoft move. Now it's finally installing. LOTS of complaints on Halo MCC reviews about the install.

It is worth it for $15, but wow on how hard it was to install. It's not rocket science. Glad you are getting somewhere.

I remember when Visual Studio used to come with install shield and no problems. How the mighty have fallen.

Halo MCC on the MS Store is 121 GB (I have it from the last deal) But it's currently 140GB on my drive.

Also, you can play multiplayer (online) without paying for xBox live if you have the PC version.

Had this problem over and over. the ONLY consistent solution I could come up with is making more room on my C drive. Even when the app asked to be installed somewhere else it still would have problems loading / running. Finally gave up and added room to my C drive and have not had a single problem since. VERY bad install system MS Store has.....

It might require 150+ GB for the actual install process, but end up at 121 GB when finally installed. At least that's my guess.

So, if you play online without paying for XBox live, are you playing with others that are on XBox live, or are you talking about setting up private games with others who don't have Live?

Wow, I'm surprised Microsoft isn't charging for that. Interesting. Cool, thanks for the tip.

Do you know if there's a way to play co-op on multiple computers over the same LAN, rather than split screen? If so, I assume both PCs need a separately purchased copy, correct?

Was just talking to my co-worked about wanting a Forza game. I heard bad things about Motorsport 7 so this was perfect timing. Thanks!
Forza 7 is the simulator, Horizon is more arcade like Burnout or Need for Speed.
