For the Provantage one, you need to add in 6 buck which is their minimum shipping charge. So its really almost $30 from them. This is a far better deal through Prime. And the regular price on Amazon is $32 so not really seeing the "deal" there with Provantage.
Any recommendations for a modern surge protector I should buy I don't want to buy dated stuff
coax, phone, and 2.1A usb-A?

this is a great product for 5-10 years ago. i'm sure it's slick for some, so i hope i don't seem to negative. it just seems like a dated product.

Quality product at a good price. Wish it had Ethernet protection, but still a solid deal for a known name.

According to TrippLite's documentation, the UL1449 Let Through Rating is 800/800/800, which to my knowledge is abysmal.

I really prefer a small UPS there seems to be more issue with brownouts in many places vs a surge.

I wonder how long ago these were made to tell the truth?

I have several of these, which I purchased mostly because they have a proper failsafe mode. Namely, when the protection circuit stops working, it permanently turns off. To me, this is more preferable than having to keep an eye out for a status LED. I have a couple of these that are placed in locations that aren't directly observable.

i have the 3 outlet version of this and like it plenty.

https://www.amazon.com/Anker-Prot...LTR2&psc=1

it has faster charging for newer phones/tablets and usb-c. usb-A will probably be dead and gone in about 5 years or so (hopefully). i doubt many people need/use coax protection, even fewer with phone line.

oooohhh, nice! One more than twice the price with half as many ac outlets! Yes, certainly an apple to apples comparison...

How else would you protect your cable or DSL lines in? I was looking for one specifically with these.
