UL Listed; 1800W (15A) and being rated for inductive load (motors) makes this a pretty good deal; just wish the pigtail was a wee bit longer.

What's the use case for this vs using a zwave outlet? Is it just ease of installing? I have zwave outlets instead as that seems more permanent

I use mine for holiday lights.
Things outdoors that I don't want to wire permanently with a zwave outlet.

I got these extension cords a while back and these little things have come in handy many times. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07H9MCTGL

For many people, plugging in an outlet adapter is much easier than swapping out an outlet (surprised that many people paid a handyman to do it?)
And the outlet adapter can move to another outlet easily for next purpose/time.

if your house isn't new, you aren't installing a zwave switch or outlet without rewiring the house since they're almost all 3wire. If you have a shed or garage with power and want to run a soda machine, fridge, lights, etc on a timer this is a much easier way to go. Also works great for extending a network that has some issues on the "cheap" (just throw one in the extra outlet behind the washer/drier).
