No. Would be fine for a streaming service, like xCloud or Stadia. But you won't be able to do any legit gaming natively on the laptop.

I mean, sure, but it's crippled by having less storage than half the new phones, and it can't be understated how much inferior these low-power 10th gen intel chips are to the equivalent 11th gen chips with respect to graphics performance. You actually CAN play some AAA games with low settings and playable frame rates on those 11th gen chips. This computer is fine as a companion device to a main computer, kind of like buying an iPad. But why not spend another $200 and get something that will last a couple years longer? I don't know; it is a good deal if you were looking for this exact device though...I don't mean to hate on it; for what it is and if you are going to use it just like a chromebook, then it's a good machine for that, and at $600 it's not unreasonably priced.

It's a good price for someone who knew they wanted a Surface Go. But for anyone looking for the best bang for their 600 bucks, this isn't it. I find even 256GB limiting as a storage option for any computer I use semi-regularly, so 128GB would just be crippling.

Edit: yes it's upgradeable, but it needs a size 2230 M.2 SSD. These are not very common. There's exactly one on Amazon, a 512GB version that costs at least twice as much as the same capacity in most other formats: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B082MS2KBB/

It also has an odd resolution and aspect ratio that most games aren't optimized for: 1536x1024.

Get a real gaming notebook that has a nvidia 1650 or faster. $1100 gets you into the 3060 notebooks..
