Slick price for the Pixel 4a 5G. No port required, no waiting for a GC, and no monthly bill credits. This is a no brainer if u already have XM service! You must have Xfinity Internet service to use Xfinity Mobile.
Here's their policy, you have to be an Xfinity home internet customer in case you didn't know. I'm here because it set off my alert for Pixel and I wanted to check it out.

Policy:

If you need to unlock your phone so that you can switch out your SIM card, it's no problem. There are just a few requirements to be aware of:

The phone must be an Xfinity Mobile device.

The phone must not be reported lost, stolen, or involved with fraudulent activity.

The phone must be paid in full prior to requesting the device unlock. If your device is on a Device Payment Plan, it is ineligible for unlocking.

The phone cannot be active on another Xfinity Mobile customer's account. If the phone previously was active on another Xfinity Mobile customer's account, it must be paid for in full.

You must have completed and paid for at least one full billing cycle of Xfinity Mobile service since purchasing the phone.

A minimum of 60 days must have passed since you activated the phone.

Your Xfinity Mobile account must be in good standing.

The device must have been purchased on the account of the authenticated customer who is requesting the unlock.
A minimum of 60 days must have passed since you activated the phone.

Arg.. I could probably get a family member to buy one for me, but the unlocking terms and wait times would have most of us worried, especially dealing with the script readers at ComCrap CS..

I would like one, but the Visible offer, though more, would seem like the safer option if you don't want to jump the hoops on this deal for a deal on a newer phone.. I just do not trust script readers.

I would of course like it to be useable on any carrier. Some one pointed put that there is 2 versions of this phone and the Verizon version, is missing important bands..

Any one know if you got the visible deal, would that phone be crippled too?

Scroll down to the bottom and notice the variants on the Verizon model and notice band N41 is supposedly missing. DOA if you have T-Mobile. I was going to buy and use it for T-Mobile until I saw that. Avoid this deal if you're planning on using it with T-Mobile if phonearena is correct.

For those who can't find it. Non Verizon version.
5G: n1, n2, n5, n12, n25, n28, n41, n66, n71, n78, Sub-6

Verizon version (Also Xfinity version).
5G: n2, n5, n12, n25, n66, n71, n260, n261, Sub-6, mmWave
Their website shows that n41 is supported. Is it incorrect on their website?

Look at the Visible offer. Visible is an offshoot of Verizon. Could be more up your alley.

I like unlocked cracked screens, most of the time by the time the phone dies or is unsupported it'll be time to upgrade anyways and cut out all the BS and save a crap ton of money

I don't if you could still do this but if you don't have Xfinty you could sign up for $25 extra per month but you would cancel after the first month if you just wanted the phone.

I have never had any problems with unlocking phones from Xfinity. As long as you are within terms, I would not worry about it. I did my unlock thru chat before and you just have to follow the unlock steps and you are golden.

I'm not sure. I've read the Verizon version has all the bands as the other version plus more but then I found the phonearena link and also someone on the Reddit link someone posted also said no N41. I'm scared to buy it now until I know.

Wait for the Pixel 6... rumor is that it will get a new camera sensor
I'm actually satisfied with the current sensor, I hope it retains Qi wireless charging and is offered in 256/512 sizes. I'd also like it to keep fingerprint sensor on back but it will probably have face unlock.

These are the details of the two variants as listed by Google:

[US / FI / CA / TW ] Model G025E
GSM/EDGE: Quad-band (850, 900, 1800, 1900 MHz)
UMTS/HSPA+/HSDPA: Bands 1/2/4/5/8
CDMA EVDO Rev A: BC0/BC1/BC10
LTE: Bands B1/2/3/4/5/7/8/12/13/14/17/18/19/20/25/26/28/29/
30/32/38/39/40/41/42/46/48/66/71
5G Sub-6: Bands n1/2/5/12/25/28/41/66/71/78
eSIM

[Verizon] Model G6QU3
GSM/EDGE: Quad-band (850, 900, 1800, 1900 MHz)
UMTS/HSPA+/HSDPA: Bands 1/2/4/5/8
CDMA EVDO Rev A: BC0/BC1/BC10
LTE: Bands B1/2/3/4/5/7/8/12/13/14/17/18/19/20/25/26/28/29/
30/32/38/39/40/41/42/46/48/66/71
5G Sub-6: Bands n2/5/12/25/66/71
5G mmWave: Bands n260/261
eSIM

Comparing these details with what is listed on xfinity product page, the phone they are selling is clearly not Verizon!

I don't see the white Pixel on the Xfinity website... anyone know if they normally have this color in stock?

I used one of these for a short while and it was fine. Ended up selling it to family... But honestly, if your phone works - just keep it. There are probably apps or cloud storage like options that would help you migrate contacts and other things. Not sure if there's a way to batch download apps to a new phone though.

Google does all of these functions. If you sign into your Google account it should migrate all of these things.

Google has fixed storage options and no expansions likely because they push for their Google One cloud storage solution.

I feel the same way - that even after getting the unlock code - this xfinity 4a 5G wont be fully unlocked with all the bands and frequency.

I really like my 4a 5g, and I paid about $350 for it. If your 3xl has battery issues I'd jump on this.
I reset my Pixel 3 this week and it fixed all my battery issues.
