So if you trade in with the Discount Program. The price is actually around $96. The Discount program gets reduced due to the trade-in amount. I had issues with this before and the Samsung Representatives didn't even know why. Which kinda sucks cause I couldn't use my promo code when I did my S20 FE preorder before so I just ended up forgetting about it.

The band supposed to come with watch is Stitch band which has been selling by samsung for 79$ .
Samsung sending watch without band and then giving 40$ for buying low quality band .

Factory Reset my S3 Classic watch. When the watch is powered on, it starts at Let's Go screen. Is this sufficient for trade in purpose? Thanks

Received a note saying my watch was rejected because "You did not disable your personal security locks, including the Factory Reset Protection or Activation Lock."

I followed the limited directions in the return checklist, including verification the device isn't 'blacklisted' (in my kind that meant not stolen). This situation falls under my device is blacklisted

I was given 2 choices, free return to me or let them recycle it. No other choice to resolve.

Be careful when you return...

I did factory reset the device. I did boot it up after and although I am not 100% sure it said Let's Go, there definitely wasn't any kind of error or warning. I didn't disconnect or log out of anything in the app so I figured I just screwed that up.

I went into the watch settings menu and selected factory reset. I googled this topic extensively since receiving this communication from Samsung, and it's really not clear what I should have done that I didn't do. All references to these types of locks seem to be related to Android phones not watches.

Thanks. Please report here what you find. I was looking for the same info. Most threads on watch3 didn't have this info. In one of the threads, someone mentioned that their watch started up on Let's Go screen and it was accepted. I just shipped my watch S3 SM-R775V that starts at Let's Go screen. I will report back what happens. Thx
