For anyone on the fence there's a demo for the game on steam. I thought it was pretty good, but not something I wanted to add to my already shameful backlog.
It's on Game Pass for free, but if you're looking to play on PC this is a good price. The game is basically anime Dark Souls but it allows you to switch classes on the fly (called blood codes instead of class, but same thing with casters, tanks, etc). It's easier than most souls-likes because you have a constant partner with you (switch out partner to Yakumo for EZ mode) and it has lots of incentives for trying out new classes by letting you use their abilities on other classes once you reach "mastery" of them. Also lets your re-run previous bosses in a raid like setting to grind more mats to upgrade your items. The game also adds side quests in places you've already been to help give you a reason to revisit areas.
TL;DR It's a lot of fun and decently long if you can get over the embarrassment of playing a game with this much jiggle physics around your significant other.
Is the Deluxe considered a "must have" for the asking price? It seems a bit cheaper getting base + SP separate unless the Deluxe has extra stuff SP doesn't have.
Is site reputable like Greenmangaming and Fanatical?
Yeah, I've been buying from both for years now. Both of these sites are direct sellers, not middle men who facilitate buying keys from other people like cdkeys or eneba. Though actually I've had only good experiences with cdkeys and eneba as well. But with green man gaming or fanatical the buck stops with them so if anything does go wrong they're the ones who answer for it.
