Since the sale starts 3/10 is the idea to buy now while it's in stock and then ask Costco for a partial refund once it goes on sale? Or just wait until 3/10 to purchase?

crap My Verizon FIOS router only has 5.0Ghz out the box, cant figure out how to create a 2.4ghz band.
YMMV, but try setting up a "guest" network on your router, should be 2.4. At least that's how I configured mine to allow things that are purely 2.4 to connect without ongoing issues.

A thousand times yes. It's amazing. Kirkland brand alone makes it worth it.

Note: Nice to see they're making a bunch of generic filters for these now.

Beware that it is really hard to get the filters.
Better looking for Winix 5300-2 from Amazon.
This is false. There are tons of generic ones on Amazon available now.

I wake up congested every morning. How many of these do I need for them to be effective? Just one in the bedroom or a four throughout the house?

Also, are they quiet? I am a light sleeper, and a lot of noise would probably wake me up.

Thanks in advance!

I am always skeptical of products, I mean does this actually work and purify the air inside your home?

Also, if you have HVAC heating and air, doesn't the air get filtered there?
HEPA rating isn't an opinion. It either meets the requirement or it doesn't. HE13 is 99.95% removal of 0.2 micron detritus. It's considered 'medical grade'. Also, the winix has what they call a 'plasmawave' to zap what's under .2, like viruses. It's just a best effort attempt, but arching plasma kills faster than UV exposure.

As far as HVAC, that isn't a filter. MERV 8 is the max of most residential systems, and that's just to keep your A/C from grinding to a halt. Has zip to do with breathable air quality.

You will need them in every room that needs to be filtered behind a door. High traffic areas and where you sleep.

They are very quiet on level 2. The mode right below turbo, where it sounds like a wind tunnel. The fans are very large. Large means quiet. Like a ceiling fan.

If you are sleeping near one, you'll want to get some black electrical tape and mask the lights/leds on it. 3 rows on the panel.

That's it.

I would say yes for a family of 3+. With the executive membership ($120 anual) I get rewards of about $175 every year and I shop smart (meaning only necessities and items on sale). So technically they pay me to be a member and there is a lot of perks.

1 thing I hate about costco:
Constantly rearranging their watehouse and I am not talking about just seasonal. So if you only go once a month, chances are you will be running around to find where they moved the f-ing almond milk.

1 thing I wish they were better at:
Some products show up once, the sell out, and you never see them again. Non seasonal items.

And finally, their fruits and some veggies are very expensive where I am at. I often find, much, much cheaper fruits and groceries stores.

That's what I'm doing. Ordered online and will price match in 2 weeks. Pay shipping to save myself the misery of standing in line

How does this compare to the AM80, which was at costco for like 150?
