i don't know about these small ones, but I've used the full size (I guess "toenail" clippers?) for 20+ years, and they're amazing compared to other cheap nail clippers. I lose them often enough that I can't vouch for their durability beyond a couple years, but they're well worth the premium over cheaper brands.

These are pretty horrible compared to the old revlon ones...main issue is the handle is pretty slippery so it's hard to hold while clipping.
Other thing is the jaws don't open up enough to use them on toenails.

Good for my tackle box
I was thinking the same thing! Good for fishing line, string, and braided thin wire.

This is the worst nail clipper I've ever used.
The blade is not sharp at all even when new.

That's what I did and these nail clippers are still crap even when using that trick.

These are garbage I got 3 and tossed all 3.

One broke instantly, and the other 2 cut your finger nails by smashing them between 2 dull pieces of metal.

The cheap ones do, which is why I bought me this https://www.amazon.com/gp/product...UTF8&psc=1 [amazon.com]

Sure it costs more, but it's maintained its sharp edge for about 8 years for me. I've had about 3-4 other clippers that were given to me via either a promotion, or as a gift (when people go out of the country and bring you the cheap bottle openers). This set is still sharper than these other gifts that were given to me after. Well worth the price.
I have one of these and it is pretty awesome. If you're good about not losing nail clippers - then this is a worthwhile purchase despite the high price tag.
