Yeah, but I had ones that seems to last longer than these do. I use them twice a month...
I don't think I've ever had a problem with the cutting. One clipper had the lever part brake

The cheap ones do, which is why I bought me this https://www.amazon.com/gp/product...UTF8&psc=1

Sure it costs more, but it's maintained its sharp edge for about 8 years for me. I've had about 3-4 other clippers that were given to me via either a promotion, or as a gift (when people go out of the country and bring you the cheap bottle openers). This set is still sharper than these other gifts that were given to me after. Well worth the price.
Funny I was complaining about these nail clippers just this morning. I came to this thread thinking maybe the OP was better :-) The one in your link is super slippery. It is fancy looking brushed steel with rounded body, but a struggle to hold still.

Lol you returned finger nail clippers? The cost gasoline alone wasn't worth it. Lol you had someone drive finger nail clippers to your door and then back to the sender. Wtf!
* I drive an electric car which I can charge free.
* I try to ship/return multiple items at a time instead of driving to UPS/USPS with individual packages.
* I don't buy junk stuff even if it is for $1

I had one of these.. the material quality and cutting of these just plain suck.
(it was from the last deal for these clippers)

save yourself the money. you can just goto the local dollar store for same quality.

I've been using cheap ones for all my life. And I hated cutting my nails because it would be such a bad job. I would have to file my nails afterwords quite a bit just to get it smooth. I've considered using sandpaper for grit.
Finally one broke while cutting my nails and I posted on Instagram stories. My buddy recommended Seki made in Japan. I got that and another one from Muji , both on amazon and made in Japan. Both are amazing and SHARP! even my wife loves it and didn't know how good blades could be.
The photo is while cutting my nails. The nail clipper just snapped. So much for metal... either than or I have some Adamantium in my system.

Bought one of these things years ago. The metal arm flexes before it manages to actually cut through the nail. Complete trash. I've literally got 20 year old clippers that still work better than these did brand new.

Cut your nails after a shower. Cheap clippers won't matter.
They rust in water
