I just ordered a 2nd one. Been waiting for them to go on sale. Use it for my Vizio tv. Allows me to wear headset while on treadmill. Connects two pair of headsets. Going use the other one on my deck.

Also use volume control on headset.

i don't have experience with this model but another of the same brand i have does go out to two headphones at the same time.
Usually it's two headphones that you can connect but then your source is from 3.5mm, RCA, or Toslink and not bluetooth. My use case is to be able to watch something on firestick and have the audio out to two bluetooth headphones. Roku overcomes this somewhat by their private listening feature but I'm no looking to get Roku. Maybe replace firestick with Google TV Chromecast but then it's the same situation as Firestick.

i think i see what you're saying. yes, this would add another layer of hardware to handle the two wireless headphones. i use mine with a Fire TV and have the TVs optical out to the bluetooth transmitter then to our headphones. i wish the Fire TV would just have the option of multiple outputs.

I'd rather just get a USB aptX BT dongle and call it a day:
https://www.amazon.com/Bluetooth-...142&sr=8-3

I guess if you have older hardware (TV/HD receiver/cable box) and want to go cordless and listen with some BT headphones this could help you out. I would think many individuals have some sort of streaming box that they are using (Roku, Chromecast, AppleTV, FireTV, Nvida Shield, Xbox/Playstation, etc) which already has built in BT technology.

Regarding aptX technology is important to remember that obtaining low latency sound transmission using aptX only works when both your transmitter (this) and receiver (headphones) have aptX built into their design. aptX BT headphones can get pretty pricey.

I have other Bluetooth transmitter /receiver combo but it won't auto connect to the paired speaker when turn off/on. Anyone knows this device has auto connect/memory feature?

I bought a slightly older model of this box last year. I have an optical connection from my TV to the box. The sound is pretty good with no distortions or dropped sound. The only problem I have with Mii is that my headphones don't connect right away. Most times I have to wait and wait for my headphones to connect.

How do you power this if you use it on your vizio TV? I assume it's powered via USB if you are using it for a laptop.

I have this, it works well. Be sure to set the tv volume to medium or high. Otherwise bluetooth signals to your headphones will cut in and cut out randomly.
