No... even the lowest quality Dewalt 20 volt brushed will have more power then this 12 volt. These do have great power for their size, but these are meant for size/ weight convenience, not power. Also the larger amp battery does NOT increase power... only runtime.

Yeah, I'm sure they're sold out everywhere because no one is buying them. Totally makes sense.

The battery is showing all shipping options as unavailable for me at checkout. Sucks because this is actually a really great deal.
Edit: I actually checked the listing for just the battery and it appears to be out of stock on its own. Looks like the promo is valid 3/1/21 - 4/28/21 so it'll continue to be an awesome deal as long as the sale price doesn't move on the kits.

Using a larger 5ah battery on brushless tools should make the tool a lot more powerful as compared to a 1.5 or 2ah. Started using a 4ah on my Ridgid drill and impact wrench and the power increase is very obvious. A vid compared a 2ah and 6 ah with the impact wrench. It went from 250 (advertised at 225 lbs) to 450 lbs removal. In other words, with the 5ah bat, youre getting a much more powerful tool. And longer run times.
And that imo makes this a very good deal.
This is in the Lowes Dewalt listing, "DCF902 12V MAX Brushless 3/8-in impact wrench has 30% more torque (when using DCB122 2 Ah battery vs DCF813 using DCB120 1.3 Ah battery)"

What's the deal with all of these lines? Is "Xtreme" just Lowe's version of "Atomic?"
Seems like a decent deal.
EDIT: Never mind, I also didn't notice this was 12v vs 20v. It looks like an interesting line if that works for your needs.

Would a 12v brushless be as powerful as a 20v non-brushless?

They're not in stock because no one is buying 12volt.

The 5ah battery in 12v line was launched more recently, so that could be the reason too it's not showing up as available at some stores besides already being OOS.

After my partial order for the 5ah battery getting bounced around to 4 stores in my area showing 15+ in stock... they are either lost or no received yet. So you are probably right as its a new promo they are probably just receiving them into stock.
